Your Tasks

  • Head of the physical measurement laboratory at our Norderstedt site
  • Ensuring of the laboratory operation under personnel, scheduling and economic aspects
  • Development of innovative, practical mechanical test methods, also in collaboration with the technology development laboratories and the business units
  • Development of new test devices
  • Quality assurance of test methods by employing measuring system analyses and international round robin tests
  • Support of the simulation laboratory
  • Process optimization in the area of sample management and order processing
  • Connection of laboratory equipment to existing or newly established information systems
  • Leadership, development and motivation of the subordinate employees

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, engineering or natural sciences
  • PhD degree desired
  • In-depth knowledge of statistics, high IT affinity
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of fatigue testing
  • Deep understanding of finite element modeling and polymer chemistry and physics
  • High sense of responsibility, reliability and resilience
  • Careful, independent and result-oriented way of working, combined with project experience
  • Team spirit, strong social skills and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent written and oral English skills
