Sales Manager in Electronics

Sales Manager Electronics is responsible for the sales development within the Samsung Mobile value chain. This includes the initiation and implementation of OEM related spec-inactivities within Korea as well as the coordination and follow-up of those projects within the relevant supply chain in and outside Korea.

Your Responsibilities

1. General responsibilities

  • achieve sales and margin targets for the defined product and customer groups
    within the Samsung Mobile supply chain
  • execute short-, mid- and long-term strategies for assigned markets, customers
    and products

2. Sales and marketing responsibilities

  • Market segment responsibility for Samsung Mobile market including:
    • short-, mid- and long-term strategic planning and account penetration
    • product positioning and selling
    • constant monitoring of actual vs. planned sales developments and implementation of respective counter-measures in case of deficiencies
    • market research to identify future growth prospects and active approach of such accounts / market segments
    • implementation of product promotion activities (product availability, technical service, customer selection, pricing structure, channel management, selling argumentation, competitor references etc.)

3. Customer responsibilities

  • Actively manages Samsung Mobile value chains including:
    • new product promotions, customer training, technical and supply services
    • specification / approval work at direct (converter), indirect customers
      (component manufacturers & OEM’s, for mainly Electronics manufacturers)
    • relationship management and communication

4. Key account responsibilities

  • Active coordination of key accounts including:
    • regular communication and information exchange with counterparts
      in other countries incl. joint customer visits (India, Vietnam, etc. )
    • global price coordination
    • cross border demand coordination and forecasting

Hiring Requirements

  • B.A. degree / graduated degree or equivalent in majoring Engineering
  • Minimum 5 year experience in sales, marketing or technical positions
  • Sales experience with Samsung Electronics with Mobile Business preferred (R&D, Purchasing, VE team, etc.)
  • Good technical knowledge and interest in details
  • Good networking within above mentioned business field will be highly preferred
