What you will do
Manage the defined PPS Market Segment in close cooperation with global product management, regional (European) sales and digital MarCom Team to profitably increase market share based on high value solutions with clear USPs. With focusing on target market insights, define and develop a high value solution portfolio and thus grow market share in Europe. Develop and implement the Regional Product Strategy and roadmap.
Market Segment, Product and Assortment and Annual Business Plan (Strategy)
Develop and execute Market Segment Plans for the allocated focus customers in close collaboration with Global Product Management and regional Sales and Digital MarCom Team.
Define the annual planning process (“ABP”) based on Go-To-Market activities (Product, Process, Events, Digital Marketing) derived from the market segment plan for the focus customers.
Steer European pricing to maximize PNS and profitability by assessing the pricing situation and proposing corrective actions
Develop and implement the Regional European Product Strategy and roadmap
Account-based Marketing (incl. KPIs):
Generateing deep Customer Insights
Development of an external network (suppliers of machines and consumables, decision makers in the value chain e.g. Brand Owners), regular visits and analysis of business relevant market data
Define customized marketing campaigns for selected focus customers from the strategic market segments with the aim of generating new customer contacts, optimizing the distribution of new solution offers, and achieving an improvement in the closing rate of the sales organization in close cooperation with the Regional Digital MarCom Team.
Ensuring close cooperation with the regional MarCom Manager the preparation and execution of key customer events.
Innovation - New product launches
Focus on Innovation, improve New Product Rate and initiate measures to improve Win-Rate for sales projects
Drive new product developments by defining and managing a process to develop our assortment incl. Business Cases in close cooperation with regional sales and the global product management
Effectively launch (Deployment) new solution to focus customers according to the market segment plan.
Own and facilitate the Launch process, develop a Launch Drive Calendar
Define and monitor KPIs for products and launches and suggest corrective actions if necessary
Assess regularly the pricing and strategic intention per application product group (APG).
Projects - Support customers projects
Get involved directly in the biggest customer projects: define the strategy, convince the various functions of the buying center, if needed sharpen the technical and commercial argumentation, provide the necessary tools (launch packages, marketing support material, samples, etc.)
What you will need
University degree (economics, business administration, marketing)
5+ years of Marketing B2B Experience
Industry and the market knowledge of the PPS market
Experience in a multinational company with a matrix organization to cope with regional and corporate stakeholders (sales, regional HoS and HQ)
Excellent in written and spoken English and ideally German (Level B2 or higher)
Good presentation and negotiation skills
Working autonomously and self-driven, while proactively seeking support when needed
Easily adapting to change and ambiguity
Willingness to travel 25% (fairs, associations, customers events)
