But that's not all, because this master of metamorphosis has a very special secret:

The backing material of tesa® 60412 consists of 70% of recycled PET bottles (so-called post consumer recycled PET) that have been shredded, melted, and then granulated. This granulate is then transformed into backing material for packaging tape. This metamorphosis makes even the strongest superhero turn "green" with envy.

Strong, tireless and very quiet

Yet tesa® 60412 not only gives old PET bottles a makeover; it also shines with strength, stamina and other abilities – just as a hero should. It has a transparent backing material with excellent thermal stability and tensile strength combined with a water-based acylate adhesive featuring strong adhesion. This makes the tape the perfect solution for light to medium-weight packaging used in the industrial sector.

Among others, this series includes tapes that are made with corn or paper base. It is a direct descendant of our classic packaging range and combines high product standards with a better contribution to sustainability – simply a true tape hero," adds Cueto.
