tesa® 51788 EasySplice® Black Plus is a double-sided flying splice tape consisting of a flat-back paper and an acrylic adhesive.
tesa® 51788 EasySplice® Black Plus features:
- Very high tack properties
- Very high shear resistance
- Extremely good heat resistance
- Best adhesion on coated and uncoated paper
- Low splice thickness
- Reliable detection of splice position
- Smooth and easy application due to a flexible backing
The innovative tape composition includes the following functions:
- Split liner for the secure fixation of the top sheet
- Black backing for a reliable optical detection of the splice position
- Adhesive formulation with very high tack properties for excellent contact between expiring web and new reel
- One splitting strip with paper backing for a smooth opening of the new paper reel without jeopardising the printing process
