Das sind Ihre Aufgaben

As a Process Manager in the Strategic Purchasing department, you are responsible for the further implementation of a new purchasing system as well as the current standard purchasing process for all areas of the company. This involves close cooperation and coordination with the Strategic & Operational Purchasing, Finance and IT departments, in order to continuously develop and optimize the process.

  • Drives the global implementation of the procurement IT systems SAP-Ariba and SAP-MM
  • Serves as Global Key User for procurement processes and central contact for the global procurement organization
  • Provides training for regional / local key users, helps to develop and deploy the global organizational setup
  • Identifies and evaluates new features and technical developments of SAP and Ariba and drives their implementation
  • Analyzes tesa’s indirect spend to identify total cost / process improvement potential in close collaboration with the Category Managers  
  • Assures smooth integration of our suppliers into the Ariba network

Das ist Ihr Profil

  • Professional with a Masters in e.g. industrial engineering and management, information management or business administration with relevant experience
  • Profound knowledge on SAP / Ariba is desirable
  • Experience in working in cross functional and international teams
  • Working experience in the field of procurement or as a procurement process consultant is desirable
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset – willing and eager to learn
  • Fluent German is desirable
  • Structured and target oriented working style – ready to cope with high complexity
