The Market Development Manager, Wire Harness, in tandem with the corresponding sales colleagues, is responsible for the achievement of sales and margin plans of the Business Unit (BU), according to the Major Customer Group (MCGR) for the defined segments within the Wire Harness Market. The Market Development Manager is responsible for bridging the Wire Harness product development and implementation, including product offering to assigned segment(s), program formation, communication, measurement, corrective action recommendations, and coordination of the planned execution. Additionally, the Market Development Manager - Wire Harness is responsible to define, introduce, and implement future regional focus applications for the ttNA Wire Harness team.

  1. In alignment with the BU, define and develop new harness covering applications outside of typical tape & sleeve through market research, evaluation projects, market package development, training and implementation
  2. Support the product development activities through market-based activities such as customer spec-in support and converter lamination coordination as needed. Develop concepts for how to apply and how to supply alternative technologies
  3. Market research in segments such as e-mobility, heavy truck, and identification of mega trends
  4. Development of defence strategies to protect market share
  5. Ensure an optimal flow of information between sales and marketing to implement relevant International concepts to the NA local level and to promote and provide input on NA concepts for International acceptance
  6. Coordinate promotional activities including sales collateral and participation in industry and customer events to support sales growth

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  2. Minimum of five years of combined marketing and/or product development experience in adhesives technology
  3. Demonstrated strong analytical skills
  4. Must have strong strategic thinking, organizational and critical thinking skills
  5. Technical acumen to interact successfully with automotive materials engineers
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel, and experience with CRM software packages
  7. Must be able and willing to travel 50%
  8. Ability to speak Spanish a plus
