The Maintenance PLC Technician, 3rd shift, is responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, replacements, and upgrades of electrical systems for production lines, equipment and other systems in the plant. More than 50% of plant equipment is less than 2 years old with a broad range of functionality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot issues that may occur on production equipment, with or without support from another Maintenance Team member.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair in Class 1 Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations
  • Perform calibrations and adjustments on required meters and sensors
  • Conduct failure analysis studies on prematurely failed parts
  • Develop and complete predictive maintenance schedules, repairs, and audits.
  • Support the R&D department with projects and repairs
  • Work to reduce energy consumption and waste

Вимоги щодо найму

  • High School diploma or GED;
  • Two (2) years of experience in machine controls and VFDs troubleshooting and repair;
  • Experience working on Allen Bradley equipment is a plus.
  • Strong desire to learn PLCs with company-paid education/training assistance and the support of a seasoned PLC professional. 
  • Willing and able to train on 1st shift for six (6) weeks to three (3) months, depending on the training that is needed.
