Product description

tesa® 51108 combines a polyester backing and a thermosetting adhesive to achieve the optimal performance for high-quality automotive paint jobs.

Standardized and customized applicators for tesa® 51108 are available to ensure efficient tape application.

Product Features

  • Thin PET film for straight and thin paint lines
  • High tensile strength for easy demasking without the tape tearing
  • Residue-free removal up to 150°C/1h
  • Due to the low thickness of 54 µm, the tape creates extra sharp paint lines
  • The temperature resistance of up to 150°C/1h and the high tensile strength provide an ideal usage for two-tone painting on car bodies at the automotive OEM or on bumpers at OES, especially if long straight lines are required.

Application Fields

tesa® 51108 is suitable for various types of masking applications.

Example applications are:
  • Two-tone painting at temperatures up to 150°C/1h
