Product description
tesa® Mounting Tape for Tiles and Metal 100 kg/m is our strongest mounting tape and has specially been formulated for an extra-strong and secure hold on solid and smooth surfaces like tiles, metal and most plastics. It even compensates for minor surface irregularities. The tape is perfectly suited for permanent mounting of objects up to 10 mm thickness and weights of up to 6 kg per object or application without the need for a hammer or a drill. Under optimal conditions, it's capable of holding up to 10 kg per 10-cm of tape. It is easy and convenient to use and ensures a durable, reliable hold.

tesa® Mounting Tape for Tiles & Metal 100 kg/m is an ultra-strong mounting tape made to give a permanent hold on smooth and solid surfaces like tiles. This adhesive tape can hold 100 kg per metre and even compensates for minor surface irregularities.
3. Apply the heavy-duty, double-sided tape in vertical strips corresponding to the full length of the object or surface, and press down firmly all along the entire strip for at least 5 seconds. Be careful not to touch the exposed adhesive area.
4. Remove the backing from the tape and position the item on the surface.
5. Press down firmly on the item for at least another 5 seconds to get as close a bond as possible.
The strongest mounting tape from tesa®
Since the mounting tape is designed for a permanent hold, it is not made to be removed. If you have to remove it, though, use a cutting wire to cut the foam core and then carefully tear off what’s left. Removing the tape like this may damage the surface and leave a residue.

How to apply – Step by step
1. For the best possible bond, use alcohol or silicone-free window cleaner to make sure your surface is free of dust and grease. Ensure the surface is dry before application. 2. Check whether the surface or the object is rougher and apply the mounting tape to it.3. Apply the heavy-duty, double-sided tape in vertical strips corresponding to the full length of the object or surface, and press down firmly all along the entire strip for at least 5 seconds. Be careful not to touch the exposed adhesive area.
4. Remove the backing from the tape and position the item on the surface.
