Removable, reusable and – of course – adjustable, these powerful little things are perfect for mounting whatever you want without drills, hammers, noise, mess and hassle - or damage to your surfaces. (Not suitable for wallpaper, plaster, copper, brass, marble, coated paper or non-stick and porous materials.)
Use a dust-free cloth and a little alcohol or methylated spirit to remove dirt and grease. You can use detergent, too, but be sure to find one that doesn’t contain silicone as this can leave a non-stick residue. Make sure your surface is dry before moving on to the next step.
Remove the Adhesive Strips using the handles and without touching the adhesive surface. Apply the strips vertically to your freshly cleaned, dry tiling.
Pressing the strips firmly all over for at least 5 seconds will activate the adhesive bonds in the Powerstrips® Technology.
Remove the strips’ cover foil and carefully align each nail with the top edge of each strip, with the heads of the nails at the top, then fold the nail down onto the adhesive area immediately above the red line.
Use both thumbs to press down at the top of each nail for 5 seconds, for another 5 seconds in the middle and for a final 5 seconds at the bottom.
Here’s the really clever bit. Push the red toggle up and you can adjust the height of each nail head so that your herb shelf is perfectly level (or so your pictures or ornaments a perfectly aligned). Once you’ve got it at the height you want, just slide the toggle back down into its lock position.
These Adjustable Adhesive Nails are great for anything up to 3kg, or 6kg if you’re using two of them and perfect for any non-flat-backed objects like pictures and clocks. And because they’re removable and reusable you can move them around as often as you want if you want to shake things up a bit.
It takes just a second or two to move or remove an Adhesive Nail. Take hold of the nail head between thumb and forefinger and with your other hand take hold of the exposed tab. Now, without pressing the nail onto the surface, pull straight downwards - NOT away from the surface - to release the thousands of individual bonds that make up the adhesive surface.
