Using the tesa® Adhesive Nail for Wallpaper & Plaster 0.5kg

The smart way to mount or hang objects on textured and sensitive surfaces.

Cleaning the surface.

01Cleaning the surface

Cleaning your surface with a dust-free cloth will ensure optimal holding power. Always test the load-bearing capacity of your surface before mounting.

Applying an Adhesive Strip.

02Removing the Adhesive Strip from its backing

Peel off an Adhesive Strip by taking hold of the tab at one end. Taking care not to touch the adhesive surface itself, press the strip vertically into position with the blue tab at the bottom, facing the wall.

04Attach the nail to the strip

06Mount the object

Your Adhesive Nail is great for anything up to 0.5kg, not just lightweight pictures (you can use two nails to double the holding power). And because they’re removable and reusable, you can move your photos, paintings and ornaments around as often as you want.

07How to remove an Adhesive Nail

There’s nothing to it. Just take a light hold of the nail head with one hand (ensure you’re not pressing it onto the surface) and with your other hand take hold of the exposed tab. Now here’s the trick: gently stretch the Adhesive Strip down, parallel to the surface and NOT away from it. This action releases the thousands of tiny individual bonds that make up the adhesive surface, ensuring it comes away cleanly and without damaging your surface.
