Invisible, UV resistant and capable of holding 20kg/m, there’s nothing better for permanently mounting pretty much anything you can think of on glass doors and windows. Suitable for glass and acrylic. For other surfaces please use another tesa® Smart Mounting System product.
Use a dust-free cloth and a silicone-free cleaner, rubbing alcohol or methylated spirit to get rid of any dirt or grease that might impair the Mounting Tape’s adhesion. A silicone residue can make surfaces non-stick, so be sure to steer clear of it.
Cut lengths of Mounting Tape to the required length and apply them vertically to your object rather than the glass you’re mounting it on. This will allow you to place the object precisely where you want it and also to activate the Powerbond® Technology. Since the load will be greater at the top of the hanging area, ensure that there is enough tape in this area.
Use your thumbs to press down or rub firmly for at least 5 seconds along the whole length of each section of tape.
Now all you need to do is peel off the protective backing, align the plant holder and press it to the surface precisely where you want it. Another 5 seconds’ pressure across the whole of the surface will ensure that the bond is as secure as possible.
