Take a look at our step-by-step video and convince yourself of how simple it is to use our mounting tape and to implement your projects. The adapter set for aluminum doors is based on the tesa® Power.Kit technology and does not cause any drill holes in the door frame.
Clean the window frame and use a dust-free cloth with a little alcohol or denatured alcohol to remove dirt and grease. If you would prefer to use a cleaning agent, you should choose one which is silicone-free. Silicone has non-stick properties and therefore prevents adhesion. Before continuing with the next step, the surface should be dry.
Next, screw the adapter tightly to the aluminum frame's hinge.
Remove the protective film from the adapter.
Put a powerstrip onto the mounting brackets and remove the protective film.
Now place the mounting brackets onto the lower part of the outer door frame.
Now the aluminum door can be brought into the right position and for now held in place by the mounting bracket.
Now loosen the screws from the adapter again and hold together the hinges. This brings the adapter into the right position.
Now open the tube of glue with the tip of the tool and stick the spray nozzle into the larger hole of the base plate. Use the red tool to roll up the tube of glue.
Now turn the red tool and fill the larger hole until the glue exudes from the smaller hole. Allow the glue to harden for 12 hours.
Now place the white adapter on the base plate.
Once you have mounted the aluminum frame, you can remove the mounting bracket.
