Our employees shape the company with their dedication – they are the foundation of tesa’s success. With our corporate culture and targeted support initiatives we take this fact into account.

Occupational Health and Safety: Safety Through Prevention

The Occupational Safety Guidelines, which are based on the international standard OHSAS 18001, apply for all tesa locations around the world. Targeted risk assessment and prevention measures are essential, however, for optimal protection against injury- and work-related hazards.

We take occupational health seriously.

We regularly strive to build awareness of safety issues among our employees around the world including trainings, explosion and fire drills, extinguisher trainings, and targeted orientations. For several years, the accident rate at tesa has been significantly below the industry average. Internal hazard reduction processes make a significant contribution to this achievement. These are based on a combination of systematic hazard identification and risk assessment, employee responsibility, and an ongoing improvement process that integrates everyone involved.

In order to ensure that our demanding occupational health and safety measures are implemented consistently, we integrate occupational health and safety into the planning process for new facilities from the very beginning. The focus is on early identification and elimination of potential risks.
