Sales Representative / Merchandiser for continued development of tesa’s position in the Nordic

This is a really fun job for someone who is action oriented, likes to go out there in Denmark and the Southern part of Sweden and connect with tesa’s customers (DIY market) and present tesa products in the stores in the best possible way. You will have lots of fun If you like traveling, plan and work independently (you will get a company car, mobile and laptop) meeting people and roll up your sleeves.

You will be part of the Nordic /UK team (7 people) within our European organization. You will be tasked with the delivery of continued growth within the Nordic region, with a clear focus on the Do It Yourself trade.

You will report to Martin Persson, Sales Manager Nordic/UK: “For me the group harmony is important, if the team works everything else comes as a positive reaction. You will join an ambitious and collaborating team that always look after each other. The cooperation is based on a high level of trust and I offer you the possibility to get an independent job where you plan your own days. What you will do

  • Promote and sell tesa products to customers to increase distribution and sales
  • Plan and organize effective use of time to meet the demands of the territory
  • Reporting of field sales activity required through company specified CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Gain customer knowledge and share information with Account/Sales Manager
  • Optimize the active selling time / airtime per customer
  • Build relationship with store manager/staff – tesa ambassador
  • Present the assortment and make sure listed assortment is in the shelves – visibility of tesa at the Point of Sales (POS) – Rebuild stores – Shelf concept
  • Check and update shelves – fill up weekly orders
  • Present new products and categories, promotions and campaigns
  • Product Training - Product and application trainings for store staff
  • POS focus – secondary placements
  • Category Approach – co-promotions with other categories if possible
  • Re-building of shops and establish new shops
  • Follow up product sales campaigns
  • Daily contact with Account Manager + external service teams

What you will need

  • Experience in working in a shop preferably in the DIY market
  • General knowledge of the DIY market
  • Good communication skills and talented networker
  • Good negotiation skills and good presentation skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Action orientated and energetic
  • Fluent in Danish, additional Swedish and English language skills preferred
