The label is tamperproof due to its structure, which includes various tints equipped with predetermined breaking points. The new security shopping bags are being used first at shops in Swiss airports, where the demand for these goods is particularly high because, in contrast to the situation in many EU countries, many dutyfree items are not subject to any customs duties. The new security seal is slated for use in other countries as well, making it strategically significant to tesa Bandfix AG: “We have tapped into a completely new field of application with a great deal of potential,” emphasizes Reto Klauser.
