Learning from the tesa prof
The Escola Theobaldo de Nigris is one of the world`s best schools in art graphics. It is part of the national vocational training association SENAI. A reason for the success of the graphic school is the excellence of the teachers. One of them is Robson Galvao, product engineer at tesa Brazil. He teaches about plate mounting tapes in flexography.

SENAI provides high-quality vocational training for the industry
The course consists of practical and theoretical lessons and takes about three hours. It gives a broad overview on the global market and the solutions tesa provides for specific applications.
18 students and one professor of the school were attending the first training and were very enthusiastic about the quality of the course. “We are now aware that the quality of the tape we use has an essential effect on the quality of our work. Furthermore using tesa tapes improves the processes and the quality”, explaines Alex Dos Santos (22), one of the students.
The students are already using tesa tapes to learn about plate mounting due to a partnership that was initiated in the end of July, 2007. "The idea behind this partnership is not only to introduce tesa products to the students but also to provide them with knowledge about crucial factors in printing practice and the solutions tesa offers", explains Sergio Guarita, tesa Trade Marketing Manager. "After all the school’s graduates represent almost most of the professionals in the Brazilian market today."
