tesa offers a large selection of adhesive solutions for use in electronic devices. PET family

Converters and manufacturers are increasingly looking for flexible, customer-specific, individual adhesive solutions. The polyester product family from tesa is tailored specifically to these needs. Our PET assortment includes ultra-thin adhesive tapes just 30 μm thick that can be used where designers need the smallest possible space between components. Thicker film tapes offer dependable adhesion even if a device is heated by direct sunlight. Extra-strong tapes up to 205 μm thick stick to even rough surfaces and make it possible to bring together even materials very different from one another.

HAF

Of particular importance to the electronics industry are products made from tesa® heat-activated film (HAF), which adheres only after being heated. HAFs were developed for challenging uses that demand extraordinary adhesive connections such as those between metal and plastic or if only narrow three-dimensional surfaces are available for adhesion.

Light management

Without bright, flat, high-resolution screens, today’s mobile phones, digital cameras, and navigation systems would be unthinkable. Light management adhesive tapes are important components of state-of-the-art displays. They not only hold the display and the background lighting securely in place, but also increase brightness, ensure sharply defined areas of light, and absorb disruptive glare.
