Therefore, tesa Holospot® Security Labels have been introduced on all 4972 products Made in China to empower customers to check the authenticity of their purchased products. The tesa Holospot® enables customers to distinguish original and counterfeit products with certainty, since the Holospot® is a forgery-proof, overt and simple to read feature. The Holospot® ensures optimal protection against forgery by offering item unique security features such as a diffractive shimmering 6-digit Security Code.

Security labels on tesa 4972 product

Two security labels are placed on tesa 4972 products. The first label can be found on the logroll carton packaging.

The second label is placed on the logroll itself.

The authenticity of the product can be checked by using the tesa connect & check system which is accessible via mobile phone or PC.

The customer scans the 2D Matrix Code printed on the labels and is directly linked to the tesa connect & check system to commence product authentication.

To authenticate the product the following should be checked:

1. Individual shimmering Security Code, different on each product.

2. Appearance in diffuse light different from appearance in direct light.
