tesa® ecoLogo
The environmentally friendly product range

All products that bear the tesa ecoLogo® label consist primarily of recycled or biologically based raw materials, are solvent-free, and are packaged in materials with as much renewable or recycled content as possible. It is a logical step for the company: In introducing the ecoLogo, tesa is taking the next step in its longstanding commitment to the environment, putting that philosophy into practice at the product level as well.

The ecoLogo® assortment comprises already a wide range of products and makes it easy to be environmentally conscious.

It includes the tesa® EASY CUT ecoLogo hand dispenser. This ergonomically shaped green dispenser is refillable and made from 100% recycled plastic.

The same is true of the glue sticks tesa® Stick and triangular tesa® Easy Stick. In addition, the adhesive masses used for these products do not contain any organic solvents.

The tesa® ecoLogo® symbol also appears on the refillable tesa® adhesive and correction tape dispensers, which are made from 81% recycled plastic (excluding the corrective tape), and tesapack® Paper, a packing tape produced from 60% renewable raw materials.

Now the tesa® ecoLogo® product range is growing with two bestsellers in a new, ecofriendly version: tesafilm® ECO & CLEAR and tesapack® ECO & STRONG. Both products are made from 100% recycled plastic, are solvent-free, and their packages contain as much recycled material as possible.

This makes tesa the first company in the world to succeed in producing packing tape and adhesive tape for office use out of recycled materials.

tesapack® ECO & STRONG offers an additional innovation: Alongside the classic brown and transparent varieties, the tape now comes in green and brown versions printed with small “100% recycled plastic” logos. Not only does this let users do something for the environment themselves – they can also spread the message to package recipients that small steps can make a big difference, and that sustainability can be easy to achieve.

All tesa® ecoLogo products meet the same high quality criteria as the conventional tesa product range, while also fulfilling the requirements of the DIN EN ISO 14021 standards for ecological products.
