Greening the office: with the new ecoLogo product range, tesa is setting standards when it comes to enhanced environmental protection in office settings.

All products that bear the tesa ecoLogo label consist primarily of recycled or biologically based raw materials, are solvent-free, and are packaged in materials with as much renewable or recycled content as possible. It is a logical step for the company: In introducing the ecoLogo, tesa is taking the next step in its longstanding commitment to the environment, putting that philosophy into practice at the product level as well.
The new tesa® ecoLogo products will be available at specialized retail stores starting in January 2010 – easily recognizable by their green packaging and the logo with the same name. The sub-brand is being rolled out with six item categories.
The tesa ecoLogo® product range
They include the tesa® EASY CUT ecoLogo hand dispenser. This ergonomically shaped green dispenser is refillable and made from 100% recycled plastic.
The same is true of the glue sticks tesa® Stick and triangular tesa® Easy Stick. In addition, the adhesive masses used for these products do not contain any organic solvents.
The tesa® ecoLogo symbol also appears on the refillable tesa® adhesive and correction tape dispensers, which are made from 81% recycled plastic (excluding the corrective tape), and tesapack® Paper, a packing tape produced from 60% renewable raw materials.
All tesa® ecoLogo products meet the same high quality criteria as the conventional tesa product range, while also fulfilling the requirements of the DIN EN ISO 14021 standards for ecological products.
