The lifespan of wood can be deliberately extended where the wood comes into contact with the soil.

In this so-called “transition zone,” the wood is carefully wrapped with waterproof, weather-resistant tesa Extra Power.

Important: Keep the tape taut and be sure that no air bubbles form between the tape and the wood.

Not even noticeable

Greater transparency in the garden

Once well wrapped, the wood can be set in the soil. Excellent: Because tesa Extra Power is transparent, the trick is not even noticeable.
