Never lose another screw again
Hook and loop squares for all
The idea: attach hook and loop
squares to all sorting boxes, and
their opposite numbers to the ladder (see next photo). When climbing the ladder to start work, the relevant box can then be attached within easy reach (see photo below). And you need never lose another screw again!
Prepare for docking
Take two
Smaller boxes are fitted with one square, bigger ones with two. When fixing the corresponding squares to the ladder, make sure the distance between squares matches that on the boxes.

No more running up and down the ladder or desperate cries of “Darling, can you hand me a plug?” Just fix the right box in place on the ladder and away you go!
