A big little world

Getting bigger - day by day.

Why do giraffes have such long necks? Why is the sun so far away? And am I always getting bigger – a little bit every day? Kids want to know absolutely everything! And so they should, because curiosity makes them smart.

The little lady in pink has grown another inch or so, anyway – she can tell from the height chart on the wall of her room.

How to do it

Paint a strip of wood from your local hardware or home improvement store in any color you wish and attach it to the wall using extra-strong tesa Powerstrips® Large. Then use a measuring stick or tape to measure the height of your child (or children) and mark it with a straight line on the chart.

And don’t forget the name and date!

Keep up with the time

For an extra-cute approach, treat this as a project lasting several years, for example until the child starts school, and tape up photos to go with the dates. Maybe her little brother or best friend wants to be measured too! Using tesa Powerstrips® Deco, the photos can be stuck to walls or wallpaper and then removed with no problem.

Tip:
Delicate paperboard frames give the photos a pulled-together look.
