A plain white shelf unit is turned into a partition.
My favourite shade: colourful!
A plain white shelf unit is turned into a partition. Get some MDF cut to the size of the shelf compartments (about 2mm smaller than the inner dimensions of the compartments) and apply binder paint in primary colours. To facilitate removal, cut small round holes in the MDF board.

A white strip of wood inside the compartments of the shelf holds the covering in place.
The trick: hook and loop tape
To enable the covering boards to be inserted and removed at will, they’re attached to the sideboard with tesa® VELCRO® Hook & Loop Stick On Tape. Fix the fleecy side of the tape to the back of the board, and the hooked part to the sideboard.

The tesa hook and loop tape fixes the covering on the white strip of wood.
Matching cuddly cushions
To complete the stripey look in the living room, lightcoloured cushions match the wallpaper perfectly and can be sewn together in no time – and instead of a zip, they can be closed with practical tesa® VELCRO® Hook & Loop Iron On Tape (also available to sew on).
