tesa SE opened its indian Converting Center on June 2,2010, at the Mahindra World City industrial park in the Indian port city of Chennai. The tesa Converting Center is cutting and converting self adhesive products primarily for the local market, especially the thriving local automotive and renewable energy sectors. The new building occupies 2,300 square meters of space and houses not only the cutting and winding machine, but also a warehouse and a quality assurance lab. The facility is starting out with a staff of 25. tesa will be able to offer international industrial customers optimum service at the local level.
