Concagno, Italy, has been home to the Comet SpA plant since 1953. In Italy, Comet is a long-trusted brand of adhesive tapes for end consumers. It is now a part of the tesa family.

The Comet plant in Concagno is now among the most state-of-the-art production facilities in Europe.
The plant’s approximately 200 employees produce adhesive tapes for industry and end consumers, including products for protection of surfaces as well as products to wrap and affix cable sets in the automotive industry, but also tesapack®, tesafilm®, and double-sided tapes.
Comet, in Concagno, is the first tesa production site to have been certified under ISO 14001. Since October 2005, the plant has also been certified under the international ISO 14001:2004 and ISO TS 16949:2002 standards.
These two standards are important components of tesa’s Integrated Management System (IMS), which brings together quality management, environmental protection, and occupational safety in a single, integrated management system.
