Transportation

All adhesive products marketed by tesa SE fall under the „limited quantities“ rules. That means that as long as the quantity remains below a certain amount, these shipments are not subject to the regulations on hazardous goods. The goods shipped must, however, be labeled and documented. Specifically, the goods shipped have to bear the “limited quantities” label and arrow marks showing the proper orientation and stacking. The transportation papers also have to be included with the shipments in accordance with the local legal regulations.

Products subject to labeling requirements, such as tesa Industry Cleaner spray, must always be transported in groups of packages contained in trays wrapped in stretch film or shrink wrap or in outer boxes that are in turn secured with shrink wrap. It must be ensured that the goods are not broken and that they cannot react to the packaging with hazardous results.
