Excellent Results Despite Wind and Weather
New tesa® Professional Outdoor product range
Whether plastering or painting – Outdoor work is challenging for both craftsmen and the materials they use. Rain, humidity, extreme temperatures, UV rays, and dirt are just some of the factors that make it difficult to achieve perfect results. The solution: specialized products that make work easier while defying wind and weather conditions at the same time – such as the new tesa® Professional Outdoor product range for painters and craftsmen.
The requirements for adhesive tapes used outdoors are particularly extreme. With its new product range, tesa now offers an extensive selection of solutions specifically developed for tough outdoor conditions. They withstand both extreme weather and mechanical stress, such as that caused by tools, and adhere securely to a wide range of surfaces. This is a major challenge, especially outside, since weather-beaten surfaces are never smooth and even. tesa® adhesive tapes provide excellent bonding and can be easily removed when the work is done, without leaving any residue. Covered surfaces stay clean and protected.
The new tesa® Professional Outdoor range comprises products for protecting glass and exterior surfaces, the proven tesa Easy Cover® solutions for covering large surfaces, strong and sturdy masking tapes for plastering work, and ultra-UV-resistant masking tapes for painting jobs.
All tesa® Professional Outdoor solutions have proven their resistance to sun and weather conditions in rigorous laboratory and field tests. Due to their excellent properties for outdoor applications, they can be used to combine several work steps, thereby speeding up the job.
All tesa tapes already meet the requirements of the REACH regulations, which will take effect in 2011. The tesa solutions can also be reliably used when working with water-based paints and lacquers in accordance with the EU VOC directive.
With the new product range, tesa is bundling its know-how and expertise in a segment with high growth rates. In the outdoor segment in particular, tesa is already posting above-average growth. The new assortment will be available in stores starting in March 2010.
