Easy Splice Black

New member of the Easy Splice product range optimises reel change by integrated Splice Detection.

By introducing the tesa® EasySplice product range tesa has made flying splices in the printing industry faster, safer and more comfortable. tesa ® EasySplice self-adhesive tapes increase the reliability of splices in the printing process, save time and thus considerable cost. Moreover, they feature excellent temperature resistance and in this way offer the highest standard of technology in the Heatset-Offset process at this time. Excellent tack and an easy to remove liner are additional features that distinguish the tesa® EasySplice product family.

Now tesa has reached the next development stage in meeting specific requirements of Heatset printing. Heatset-Offset-printing requires a reel change roughly every 20 minutes. A splice failure can easily result in considerable extra cost. The control label for splice detection has now been completely integrated into the new tesa® EasySplice Heatset Black 51808. The black adhesive strip offers a larger scanning area to the optical sensor and in this way ensures a reliable identification of every individual splice. Malfunctions caused by wrong positioning or complete absence of the control labels are now finally a thing of the past.

As a leading manufacturer tesa® is now offering integrated detection of splices by optical sensors in form of tesa® EasySplice Heatset Black 51808 for more reliable reel changes.
