tesa AG: 2004 the most successful year so far

Hamburg-based tesa AG and its subsidiaries closed fiscal 2004 with excellent results. Despite the continuing economic slowdown, sales rose by 5.4% to €706 million at constant exchange rates and adjusted for the sale of a small business operation in the USA. This growth was well above the market average. tesa's earnings rose even faster, by 43%. "This makes 2004 tesa’s most successful year so far – despite the difficult environment," said CEO Dieter Steinmeyer at the press conference in Frankfurt. "This proves that we have established a competitive position in the market for the long term."
