tesa SE produces and markets more than 7000 adhesive tapes of all kinds. 79 % of sales are generated by special applications for industrial processes, 21 % of products for consumer applications.

With 54 regional affiliates worldwide tesa is active in more than 100 countries. In nine locations tesa operates own production facilities. 70 % of sales are generated by international business.

tesa has entered the year of the tesa brand’s 75th an-niversary with record results.

During the 2010 fiscal year, sales rose 18.1% (ad-justed for exchange rate effects, 13.0%), to € 882 mil-lion, ahead of even the sales figure for 2008, the com-pany’s most successful year to date (€ 860 million). This shows that tesa has emerged from the economic crisis considerably stronger than before, even outper-forming the market as a whole. All regions and seg-ments contributed to the company’s growth, with es-pecially robust activity in the Asia/Pacific region.

The results based on EBIT also reached record levels, rising to € 99.6 million. This meant that the EBIT mar-gin climbed to 11.3% (previous year: 3.9%).
