We are looking for a highly motivated graduate for the tesa Purchasing Network (tPN) located at our headquarters in Hamburg.

Committed to establishing and developing long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a global supplier management process that enables tesa to evaluate and develop suppliers globally and cross-functionally.

The main tasks of this project are as follows:


  • Design the global supplier management process: analyze the current global situation, allocate and evaluate internal and external benchmarks, identify and define the key requirements on a cross-functional basis, set up the general process structure and assign responsibilities
  • Roll out the concept at a global level, taking into account potential cross-functional and intercultural barriers
  • Act as a key player in the overall process: involve all interfaces, represent tPN towards other departments and tesa locations worldwide, lead sub-projects autonomously and contribute to international, cross-functional teams


The successful candidate is likely to hold an engineering or business degree, preferably with an emphasis on purchasing. Your academic track record will be complemented by international experience gained as part of foreign internship (at least six months in duration) or initial project work. Initial experience in international and cross-functional projects is considered an advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and negotiating skills
  • Cross-functional and intercultural awareness
  • Self-motivated, proactive and creative
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German
  • Willingness to travel frequently and to relocate abroad for extended periods
