We need:
White cotton woven rug (80 cm wide)
diagram for stencil
sturdy white paper for the stencil
set square
ruler
pencil
scissors
fabric paint

How we do it:

Cut a stencil from the sturdy paper according to the diagram. Using the stencil, trace the chevron pattern in pencil on the rug.

Mark out the pattern with tesa® masking tape ECO PREMIUM: Taper the ends of the tape diagonally and begin taping with the inside corners. Press the edges of the masking tape down firmly.

Mark out the pattern with tesa® masking tape ECO PREMIUM: Taper the ends of the tape diagonally and begin taping with the inside corners. Press the edges of the masking tape down firmly.

Apply fabric paint to the areas, making sure to brush the paint away from the masking tape so that it doesn't leak under it.

Remove the masking tape from the rug. Treat the rug according to the paint manufacturer's instructions.
